This week Google essentially divided itself into two categories – the past & the future. Google ‘classic’ (search, ads, android, even docs and mail) constitutes a fairly proud past, while Google Ventures, Life Sciences, the ‘Moonshots’ (including driverless cars) and anti-aging biotech wing, Calico, all represent an ambitious future.
